This collection contains works by the Washington State Music Teachers' Association. The collection consists of the Association's official bulletin, Evergreen State Clarion (issues from Dec. 1949 to Feb. 1959); and The Clarion (issues from Jul. 1962 to Jun. 2010); 4-12 in. analog sound discs; 42 Convention Programs from 1981-2010; 19 spiral bound music composition notebooks; 2 paper bound music composition folders; 5 staple bound music composition photocopies; and 1 audio CD of a music performance. The collection of bulletins is substantial yet not complete.

Maud P. Mitchell was born about 1883 in Oregon. She married Chas. R. Mitchell and by 1920 they were living in Chehalis, WA. Charles was an assistant cashier at the bank. Charles had become a banker by 1930. Between 1957 & 1958 Charles passed away. And Maud passed away on 29 May 1960 in Chehalis, WA.
